I might be a bargain hunter, but I am not one to compromise when it
comes to quality on my skin care products. Before I tried to "Gelée
démaquillante yeux apaisante" I was using Clinique's and Lancôme's two
component eye make-up removers, you know, the ones you have to shake to
mix before use.
Then, last fall, when I ran out of make-up remover, I went looking in
the aisle of the French supermarket chain Casino, and my eyes fell on the bottle of the "Gelée
démaquillante yeux apaisante" by Casino's own brand, C EXPERT. As it is
suitable for sensitive and reactive skin, I figured I might as well try
it. I wanted to see how this new "gelée" texture would work. And given
the price, only around 4€, I thougt that it was not a disaster if it
turned out to be really bad.
SURPRISE: It is the best eye make-up remover I've ever tried! It's so comfortable and efficient to use! I really prefer the thick texture compared with the liquid removers.
Really, it's the best deal ever! If you're lucky enough to have a Casino
supermarket close to where you live - buy it! You won't regret it.
NB: May not be 100% efficient on waterproof mascara.
